I have my uncle’s recording of him singing me ‘Happy Birthday’ on my phone recorder which I’ve saved since June 2016 which apparently cannot be recorded other than via speaker phone to a recorder that makes a poor quality recording. So I seem to be unable to delete it if I want to hear it again so my message machine fills up continuously. My phone is ATT. Is there any way for me to record it to save his voice to some other media so I can replay it to hear him again?(both he and my dad,his brother passed away). Are there any home phone systems available that either record to a removeable chip, cassette, or whatever which can be saved other than an audio recording to another audio recorder which declines its quality significantly?
Recently one of my students asked a great question about voicemail in English and I thought that you might have the same question as well.

A good first impression goes a long way, and a voicemail greeting is the first impression to your business. An expertly crafted voicemail script lets your clients know you’re dependable, capable, and confident. An unprofessional voicemail script, on the other hand, can do the exact opposite.

Rehearse or write down your message before recording it. Remember that old saying “practice makes perfect?” It’s certainly true when it comes to creating an electronic greeting. The more you’ve rehearsed, the easier the message will be to restate. If you don’t have time to practice, writing down the greeting before recording it – and then reading it aloud from the paper – may help you stay focused on the correct wording.

These work voicemail greetings are for the work phone that you and only you use. They’re highly effective because they help you establish a relationship straight from the voicemail. Or they help you share an important update in a simple, straightforward way.
Its imperative that you, your company, or both are doing something on a regular basis that labels you as a value-added industry resource to your targeted audience. This way you have a clear advantage over all the other sales calls he/she is receiving.
That’s the simple structure of a voicemail greeting. Overall, your greeting should be professional, but the wording can vary depending on the situation. Check out a sample below.
And also don’t forget to write down your message just in case you get too anxious and forget to say your name at the end of the message.
I had to call Elijah this week to get some information. I tried his technique on him, cutting off my message in midword. I said, “I’m going to quote you in my column this week and I need…” He called me back in under 3 minutes laughing hysterically. This technique could revolutionize message leaving. I’ve been using it all week and it works. Be careful about how far you go on the humor with someone you don’t know.
While Ross panics about his friends slowly getting dressed for his big gala, Monica hacks into Richard's answering machine and leaves a mortifying message ("I don't know, maybe I'm getting my period or something")which then becomes his outgoing recording.
Only leave this voicemail for interested prospects. If you're talking with someone who isn't really invested in fixing a problem or implementing your product/service, they probably won't want to read an article you sent on the subject either.
Very good article! We are linking to this particularly great content on our site. I’m impressed! Extremely useful information specially the final section 🙂 I take care of such information a lot. I was seeking this certain info for a very lengthy time.
