Calling leads is an important part of growing your business, but it can get frustrating when you call and call and never get a reply. Having phone scripts in place can make all of the difference in the effectiveness of your lead calls. Scripts allow you to come across as confident and professional and convey all the important points you need to make. No more stumbling over your words or forgetting to mention an important factor, like your name or phone number. Scripts will help you stay consistent and make calling more enjoyable because you’ll know what works and what doesn’t.

When you have new voicemail, the Phone tab in the Skype for Business main window displays the number of your messages. See Contact Card opens the caller's contact card, which lists their phone number, email address, office location, and so on. Open Item in Outlook provides more information about the call.
It's never been more important for salespeople to be good at leaving voicemails. Not only that, but voicemail can — and should — be measured, coached, and improved. First, let's review general voicemail etiquette. Keep your greeting up-to-date. Let callers know when they can anticipate a response. Share your name and company affiliation. State the intention of your message. Include your contact information at the beginning and end of the message. Be concise. Share your availability.
If the problem is with your phone, the factory reset has a good chance of solving it. If not, contact your mobile service provider, to carry out some troubleshooting to help resolve the problem from their end.

The voicemail section allows you to change your personal voicemail message. Until you set one, anyone getting your voicemail will hear the standard Phone.com voicemail message. Your second call should happen immediately after your first voicemail. In this message, quickly say, in 10 seconds or less, an important detail you neglected to mention during your first call.
For example, if the lead is a first time home buyer, you can offer them advice on the general mortgage process in your voicemail. Plus, suggest they call you back to learn more. Make sure they know that you would be happy to answer any questions they may have.

Reading from a note will help you say what you want without any hiccups or interruptions. Call the person and keep your notes in hand. Once you’re in recording mode, read out from the note to sound as professional as possible.
Calling just to "check in" isn't a relevant reason unless your prospect has specifically asked you to. It's just a lazy excuse to get someone on the phone and it hardly ever works. Instead, find common ground between you and your leads.
Instead of Luke Skywalker, use your own name, and ta-da you have your voicemail greeting.

This tells the prospect that they will benefit from calling you back and hearing what you have to say.
