Sending an email to each prospect before you call gives them an additional way to get in touch with you when they're ready. As you're leaving your voicemail, mention that you've sent them a quick email as well that has further details on who you are and the purpose of your call. As Florin Tatulea of Loopio explains:

Outlook Voice Access enables you to use your phone to access voice mail, email, calendar, and contacts. The options you set for Outlook Voice Access include the order in which you access new messages and the folder that you dial in to, e.g., Inbox.
Please leave your name and telephone number after the beep. Thank you for calling. You have reached the office of James Bucki. I can’t take your call right now, but if you leave me a message after the tone, I will return your call as soon as I can.
5. “Hi, you’ve reached [company name]. We can’t take your call right now but we will call you back as soon as we’re available. Please leave your name, number and reason for your call. We know your time is precious, so to skip the back and forth, kindly leave a few different times of day that work best with your schedule and we will do our best to reach you then! Have a great day.” This greeting lets your caller know that not only your time is precious, but you realize theirs is as well.

Call your home phone number. Press # to interrupt the greeting, and then enter your PIN. Follow the prompts to listen to your messages. (Note: In some areas, the # key will not interrupt the greeting. Try pressing * or 2 instead.)
5. Hit “Record” on Audacity. Then, on your phone, play the voicemail you’d like to record. When your message is done, stop recording. If you want to get really fancy, you can use Audacity to chop off any dead air at the start or end of your recording.
To forward with comment, press 1 2 and follow voice prompts.
Press 3 to erase your voicemail. You can start over again if you like, but you don’t have to.
Leaving voicemails can be intimidating: The recording starts quickly, the time you have to speak is limited, and only some answering machines give you the option to review and re-record your message if you mess up. You often have one shot, and a limited time-frame, to get your message across.
The first two are voicemails for prospects you haven’t spoken with yet, the next one is for when you’re calling a prospect or client back, and the last example is for when your prospect or client isn’t calling you back at all:
Leaving the Voicemail. 1. Know what you want to say before you place the call. If you want to be the go-to notary, then you have to exhibit competence on all levels. Don’t spoil your confident image by hemming and hawing and filling your messages with “uhhhhs,” and “ummmms.”. Consider writing out what you want to say beforehand.
