There is one very important last step. Return all of your calls as soon as possible. Prompt, professional callbacks, even if you then must leave a message, get you off on the right step toward a job interview.

The system sets it. For a basic voicemail, it is three minutes. In a premium system, this time is five minutes.

Always keep in mind the people who will be listening to your professional voicemail greetings. What type of tone and information resonates with them?
Nobody wants to listen to a long-winded voicemail. Keep your greeting short, simple, and concise. A voicemail message should pique a client’s interest and leave them looking forward to your call. Stick to the basics, explaining your company name, hours of operation, and when to expect a callback.

Click! Hang up, perfect voicemail. You do not need to say the phone number twice.. Let’s assume you’re going to have a seven minute spiel and you don’t want them to replay it because you’re phone message is ten minutes long of course. But if your phone message is just a couple of seconds, one time is enough.
