Another tactic here is to add some urgency, such as a limited time, to your incentive.

The most important aspect of a voicemail message is that the listener must be able to understand your message. Don’t mumble your words and be sure to speak loudly and clearly. Speaking softly will make it difficult to understand you and may result in the listener not being able to call you back.
The system sets it. For a basic voicemail, it is three minutes. In a premium system, this time is five minutes.
Rather than the over-used “I’ll check in again on Monday,” leave the conversation off with a reminder of the benefit of chatting or a specific question that gets their gears turning.

Please leave us your name, number and the best time to reach you and we’ll give you a call when we are open.” Let’s face it, you’re not always open. Yet that doesn’t mean you don’t want to help your caller. Let them know you’ll call them right back when you’re open again.
Practice your spiel so you can speak with authority. This lets the caller know how confident, qualified, and prepared you are. The goal is to sound like you’ve been doing this for years, not a few minutes.
