When recording your voicemail, feel free to adjust your script as needed to sound personable.
Another point you want to bring up in the first few seconds of your call is why the person should keep on listening.
It can be high pressure when you’re trying to leave a quick and snappy voicemail to talk fast, but even more important is to be clear and articulate so your prospect can get the point of your message.
Listen to your messages and return your calls as soon as possible. Of all the lines of communication available (social media, text, email, etc.,) your callers resulted in picking up the phone to call you because they wanted to speak with a live person. Do them the common courtesy and give them a call back when you first have the chance.

A professional voicemail greeting is essential in many aspects of a business. In sales, it enables you to properly respond to inquiries from prospects and customers or discuss a deal in more detail. When they call, and you can’t answer, you may lose the opportunity for immediate communication and potentially lose a client or customer.
