Of course, if youāre expecting something (or someone) urgent to pop into your inbox, send them a separate note with your personal email or phone number. Alternatively, you can also just make sure whoever your go-to contact is has that information in case you do need to be reached. Once you handle that, you can do what your out-of-office says youāre doing and actually spend the day recharging.

PS:Ā We love our downtime and here at HAR, we're big believers everyone needs a vacay from work. Yes, even youāthe social media junkies, the workaholics, the entrepreneurial diehards who accidentally (or "accidentally") take their smartphone into the shower.
When the office remains closed for any holiday, the messages informing the employees about the holidays and wishing them on the holidays are sent through cards or text messages to the staff. One can also send the wishes through mails to all the office staff.

I know Iām so late on this, but my FAVORITE one Iāve ever gotten was from one of my companyās Presidents (so a very high up muckity muck type).
While I wonāt be quite as far as the North Pole, I will still be completely disconnected from my inbox until my return. So, if you require immediate assistance, please send your email to [contact name] at [contact email].
