Free www.saleshandy.com https://www.saleshandy.com/blog/out-of-office-message/ · You can use these witty, snarky and professional out of office messages when you are going on a holiday. Doesn’t matter if it’s for a day, a week or a whole month. Apart from the holiday season, you can use these out of office messages when:
Thank you for your email. I’m currently out of the office until [date] to celebrate the holiday with my loved ones—without my phone in front of my face.
Thanks so much for your email. I took today off to [rest/relax/travel/spend time with family]. In an effort to come back fully recharged, I won’t be spending today with my phone attached to my hand. This is typically what I do. People don’t need to know where you are or what you’re doing. It’s really none of their business. They just need to know how long you’ll be out, that you won’t be checking email or vm while you’re gone, and who to contact instead.
Thank you for your email. I’m currently out of the store on holidays. I will be returning on [return date].
Note: If you don't see Automatic Replies, use Rules and Alerts to set up your out-of-office message.

In this image, you’re letting people know you’re OOO with a “Missing” notice on a milk carton. Genius. Just be careful — this sort of autoresponder is best for internal emails, not for autoresponders that get sent to prospects and clients.
The kicker is that they all get back on August 1st and are mad that their projects haven’t moved forward.
Thank you for your message. I am currently out of the store on holidays, with no access to email. I will be returning on (insert date).
Start with a friendly greeting. Skip the "Greetings," "Salutations," "Dear sir/madam." These are far too stuffy and robotic. Instead, start off your response with a simple "Hi" or Hello.
One of my co-workers, who was involved in a lot of committees and consequently got even more than the usual share of email around my place, put up an OOO message that said she was going to be “on pot for the week of the 15th.”
