When the office remains closed for any holiday, the messages informing the employees about the holidays and wishing them on the holidays are sent through cards or text messages to the staff. One can also send the wishes through mails to all the office staff.
Note: If you are using an older version of Outlook, such as Outlook 2007, go to Tools > Out of Office Assistant.

There's no shame in using Christmas to indulge in your childhood movie tastes, but there is shame in not sharing that adorable side of yourself when people are trying to reach you during the holidays.
Figured it out: only works when set in driving mode, and driving mode works if you are actually driving or not đ Until then, this will work until they come up with a better solution. Thank you!!
The only thing I add to that boilerplate is if Iâm working but mostly unavailable.

Protocol for when you should use an out-of-office message will vary by job and industry, but generally, you should set an OOO message when youâll be out for two or more days.
Note: Outlook does not attach your signature when it sends automatic replies. If you have a signature, you might want to paste it below your message. If you donât have one, learn how to add an email signature in Outlook.

I have a message saying I donât listen to voice mail, because I only see that a message has been left after several days. No idea why the lag, itâs been the same despite going through two phones and two operators. There are always other ways to contact me. Last time I got voicemail it was the police, the officer was calling from a landline so he couldnât text. Luckily it wasnât urgent (he needed a witness statement, but I hadnât witnessed anything of interest to the court).

I think the problem is that âat your earliest convenienceâ is a formulaic convention that uses explicit, almost exaggerated politeness to basically issue a stern direction, meaning âas soon as you possibly canâ. When you turn it into âat my earliest convenienceâ itâs unclear if you mean âwhenever itâs convenient for me to get to itâ (what the words say) or âas soon as I possibly canâ (what the meaning of the formulaic original is). Or else it sounds like you didnât quite understand how âat your earliest convenienceâ works.
