From any Home screen, tap Applications.Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail.Tap Greetings.Tap the greeting you want to use or tap Record a new greeting. turning off wi-fi didn't do it... So I deleted voicemails, then I cleared all. I still could not record a new greeting, so I turned the phone off, then on again, and that worked--I still had wi-fi on. When I go to set up voice mail, it asks me to enter a voicemail code, add a 4 digit number and then it asks to confirm that code, I hit done and it tells me that voicemail is currently unavailable, try later.
4. Reset your pin. Maybe you have forgotten your pin or passcode or you never set it up in the first place. This is a common issue. Most carriers have detailed instructions for changing passcodes. For example, to change a T-Mobile passcode, hold down the "1" key, then press the star key, and then press number 5 to go into passcode security. Then press 1, and you will be able to change your passcode. You can change your Sprint passcode online by choosing the my preferences tab and then the "things I can manage online" section.
