If you want to change your default greeting: Open the YouMail app and tap the Menu (☰) icon in the top left corner of the screen. Tap on Greetings. Under the default phone/phone number, tap Change. You can either record your own greeting or select an existing one.

1. Start the Phone app and, if you don't see the numeric keypad, tap "Keypad" at the bottom of the screen.
When using a Cisco phone, you can record and change your voicemail greeting directly on the phone. For the following instructions, to select an option, you can use the phone's blue toggle button to scroll down and highlight the desired option, and then press the Select soft key. Press the Services (globe icon) button on the phone.
T-Mobile: T-Mobile has a similar story to tell as Verizon. Instead of allowing you to set up a specific basic voicemail, it instead directs you to Apple to set up Visual Voicemail. I dont see anything that you have written when I try to set up voicemail on my new Iphone11. I tap on voicemail and the only option is 'Call voicemail' … then it doesn't accept my mobile number.
