As I mentioned earlier, one of the common reasons why an iPhone won’t play voicemails is because the Phone app isn’t working properly. Closing and reopening the Phone app allows it to “shut down” and start again, which can sometimes fix a software glitch.
Note: If you unfortunately forgot your voicemail password, change your voicemail password will not work, you have to reset it. You should contact your carrier or check its website and see if they offer an option to reset the password online.

From your: Wireless phone: Press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key. AT&T Wireless Home Phone: Dial 1 from your connected home phone. Enter your voicemail password if prompted. In the Main Menu, press 4 for Personal Options. Press 3 to Change Greetings. Follow the voice prompts to record a personal greeting.
2 - Navigate to your Dashboard > Audio and find the file named “recorded by phone” in the list, usually last page. You can now edit this file to rename it should you wish!

1. Turn on your phone and launch the Phone app. Turn the power on for your phone. Then, tap the Phone app.
Note: a desk phones' voicemail greeting can only be recorded via phone, there is no way to upload or download a greeting through the online panel.
This option will allow you to convert a written text into speech and make this your mailbox greeting (please note this is only available to those with the Enterprise account upgrade).
When you have new voicemail, the Phone tab in the Skype for Business main window displays the number of your messages. See Contact Card opens the caller's contact card, which lists their phone number, email address, office location, and so on. Open Item in Outlook provides more information about the call.
To record custom greetings simply click Record custom greeting, then hit Tap to record and start recording.
3. AT&T Voicemail Viewer. In case you still have a landline phone with voice mail function, AT&T Voicemail Viewer will help you even remotely track calls and messages.
It's in the upper right corner of the screen. Now, if you are prompted to type in your password when you are checking voicemail, you should enter the password you just set. When checking voicemail from your iPhone, usually you don't have to type in the password again because your iPhone has automatically sent the password to your carrier already.
My voicemail doesn’t tell me the number, date or time the caller made the call. Can it be set up to do these things?
If you are a new customer and have not established a voicemail box, you will be prompted to choose a password and greeting. Must be from 4 to 10 digits long. Can’t be a single digit repeated (like 1111). Can’t be an ascending or descending sequence (like 1234 or 7654). Can’t be your phone number or part of it. Can’t be 7890, 2580 or 1210.
