To change or record your voicemail greeting: From your: Wireless phone: Press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key. AT&T Wireless Home Phone: Dial 1 from your connected home phone. Enter your voicemail password if prompted. In the Main Menu, press 4 for Personal Options. Press 3 to Change Greetings.
How do you check your VoiceMail? To check your voicemail messages from another phone: Call your 10-digit wireless number. When you hear your voicemail greeting, press the * key to interrupt it. If you reach the main voicemail system greeting, enter your 10-digit wireless phone number, then interrupt your greeting by pressing the * key.

So as you could see on top is buffering. So I got to wait a minute and then once that's done, I'm going to press custom here. So now when it says to set your outgoing message, I'm going to choose custom here and I could basically press record. I don't have one yet. So if I did, it would allow me to play it and listen to it.

How how how can that be??!! This is the year 2016, and I can’t set basic options like the number of rings! Actually I too want to turn off voicemail completely. I am aghast to read I don’t have a choice.
