Now, it’s the time for a tutorial on how to change voicemail greeting on Android. Basically, there are two methods to get it done, depending on your system operation. If you’re using Android Marshmallow, here’s what you need to do:

The tutorial performed below was done on an iPhone 5 that is using the iOS 7 version of the operating system. Your screens may look different if you are using a different version.
From the Android Mobile App: Click the More button at the top left of the mobile app. Select Voicemail. Click Folder with Music Icon located at the top of the mobile app. Click the Record button, give the recording a title, and click OK. The system will call your extension. Answer the call and follow the prompts to record your new greeting.

Follow the instructions for choosing the language options then press the # key to confirm the choice. When prompted, enter the 4-7digit password then press the # key. When prompted, say the signature (or name) then press the # key. Open your Android’s Phone app. It usually looks like a phone receiver at the bottom of the home screen. Press and hold the 1 key on the keypad. Tap Add number. Tap Service. Tap My carrier. Tap Setup. Tap Voicemail number. Type your mobile phone number and tap OK.

Now select “Greeting” in the upper left of the screen. Tap “Custom” and then “Record” to record your personalized voicemail greeting.

In the T-Mobile Visual Voicemail app, for example, tap the three-dot menu at the top right and then choose “Settings.” In the Greetings & Pin section, you can tap the default greeting and record a new one.
