1. Turn on your phone and launch the Phone app. Turn the power on for your phone. Then, tap the Phone app.
Most of the time, an update to your carrier’s voicemail app or settings will cure the issue; however, it is important to confirm that your voicemail number is appropriately configured before proceeding any further.
Accessing voicemail on an Android phone can be achieved by hitting and holding down the 1 key on the number pad until the system dials your 10-digit phone number, as seen in the screenshot.
