I’m getting a warning that voicemail doesn’t work for non-tmobile users roaming on the tmobile network. What am I missing?

T-Mobile: T-Mobile has a similar story to tell as Verizon. Instead of allowing you to set up a specific basic voicemail, it instead directs you to Apple to set up Visual Voicemail. I dont see anything that you have written when I try to set up voicemail on my new Iphone11. I tap on voicemail and the only option is 'Call voicemail' … then it doesn't accept my mobile number.
Enter a name for the new greeting and then tap Save. Change your greeting. To use a greeting that you've already recorded or switch back to the default greeting: On your iPhone or iPad, open the Voice app . At the top left, tap Menu Settings. In the Voicemail section, tap Voicemail greeting.
These steps are for all Devices including Windows, if voicemail is less than 30 days old. Go to My T-Mobile and log in to your account. Click My Phone or Line Details > Check Voicemail. Log into your Digits account. Click on the message to download. In the expanded menu, click Download.
Step 3. You will be asked to create a voicemail password. Create a password and then tap “Done”
To change your greeting: Call into your voicemail. Press 3 for personal options. Press 1 for greetings or mailbox name. Choose what you want to do: Press 1 to record a personal greeting; Press 2 for a temporary greeting; Press 3 to use a system-generated greeting; Press 4 to set up a greeting when your phone is busy; Follow the voice prompts.

4. Listen to the options. On most voicemail systems, tap "2" to start the process to record a new greeting.
