If your carrier supports the iPhone voicemail feature, you can retrieve and listen to your voicemail right from within the “Phone” app and call your contacts back by simply tapping their messages. That type of functionality is pretty neat and useful, because it saves you actual time. If not supported by your carrier, you will not be able to see the visual overview of your voicemail inbox and use any of the related features. Tapping the “Voicemail” tab in your “Phone” app will simply call the number associated with your voicemail box. So let’s get going with creating our custom voicemail greeting on iPhone! Thanks for the explanation. It does indeed sound like there’s no convenient solution till your whole system gets revamped. To briefly explain *why* I don’t want your voicemail enabled: I use my USMobile number as a forwarding line for Google Voice. Google Voice’s voicemail is frankly superior to yours so I want to use it exclusively. When your voicemail kicks in it interferes with Google Voice’s operation, causing me frustration and a real mess. I’ll give some thought to whether I want to be bothered with going through a quarterly exercise of calling and re-disabling your voicemail.
7. Check for and install a Carrier Settings update. Open Settings → General → About → If there is an update, you will see a pop-up. → Tap Update.
Tripboba.com - Voicemail is a voice message that a caller will leave to your mailbox when you’re absent or busy with another conversation. The same goes if you’re trying to call someone else and they don’t answer. You can leave a voice message and they will receive the mail, allowing them to hear what you want to say.
If you choose not to record and transmit a greeting through your phone’s voicemail system, you can utilize a visual voicemail application that has been installed on your phone instead.
How do you check your VoiceMail? To check your voicemail messages from another phone: Call your 10-digit wireless number. When you hear your voicemail greeting, press the * key to interrupt it. When you reset network settings, all of your iPhone’s Wi-Fi and cellular network settings will be erased. This includes your Virtual Private Network (VPN) settings, your Bluetooth devices, and your Wi-Fi networks — so make sure you write down your passwords first! We do this step because it can be very difficult to track down the exact source of a software problem, so we reset all network settings.
