4. Call Your Carrier Voicemail Inbox. All cell networks have a voicemail number that you can manually call to access your voicemail inbox. Calling your voicemail number manually can help you determine if your inbox is active and working correctly.
To check your voicemail messages from another phone: Call your 10-digit wireless number. When you hear your voicemail greeting, press the * key to interrupt it. To change your Standard Voicemail greeting follow the directions below. Enter your password and the press # key. From Shoretel Communicator (You will need to have access to your Shoretel phone to record the message) In the menu bar, click More, then Prefereces. Your phone will turn on and beep. Begin your message.

You were courteous and called me to work on it when that became more efficient than our emailing. Very good service.
By default, the global busy prompt and global unavailable prompt are applied to all extensions. If an extension user wants to use her/his personal greetings, you can change the prompts for the extension.
If you are using a IP 400 series desk phone, press the Voicemail function key. If you are using a Cisco 7900 series desk phone, press the "Messages" button (envelope icon). If you are calling from a phone other than your own desk phone, dial your own phone number and press the * key when you hear the voicemail greeting.
