When you receive a new voicemail, the Voicemail icon will appear in the notification bar. You can also access your voicemail to check your messages by selecting and holding the One (1) key from the dial pad, follow these steps: From any Home screen, tap Applications. Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail. Scroll to and tap the voicemail message you want to hear. Tap the blue Play icon to listen to the message.
Press 1 for Personal Greetings. You then have the following options: Press 1 to set the standard greeting with your Xfinity Voice number. Press 2 to set up your standard greeting with your name. Press 3 to record a new personal greeting. Press * to return to the Main Menu.

T-Mobile: T-Mobile has a similar story to tell as Verizon. Instead of allowing you to set up a specific basic voicemail, it instead directs you to Apple to set up Visual Voicemail. I dont see anything that you have written when I try to set up voicemail on my new Iphone11. I tap on voicemail and the only option is 'Call voicemail' … then it doesn't accept my mobile number.
