Member. 11-05-2015 11:25 AM. I have already chosen to set up my voice mail with the "personal greeting" option. I would like to change this to the "standard greeting" option, which was offered when I initially set up my voicemail. The only options now when I want to change my personal greeting is re-record my greeting or keep the one I have.
My voicemail doesn’t tell me the number, date or time the caller made the call. Can it be set up to do these things?
This is an Apple bug that has been there for YEARS, and they STILL refuse to address it!!!
From any Home screen, tap Applications.Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail.Tap Greetings.Tap the greeting you want to use or tap Record a new greeting. To delete messages in bulk, select the menu bar in the top-right corner (represented by three vertical dots). Choose “Edit” and tap each individual voicemail that you wish to delete. The screen also includes a bulk select application for bulk deletion.

When I go to set up voice mail, it asks me to enter a voicemail code, add a 4 digit number and then it asks to confirm that code, I hit done and it tells me that voicemail is currently unavailable, try later.
To record custom greetings simply click Record custom greeting, then hit Tap to record and start recording.
I have tried all of the suggestions above and still can't save a custom voicemail greeting. seems like such a simple task, I can't believe Apple hasn't fixed this bug. Any other suggestions? =) Dec 18, 2015 10:40 AM User profile for user: AmishCake AmishCake User level: Level 6 (9,632 points) Apr 16, 2014 5:34 AM in response to phord In response to phord
