If you choose not to record and transmit a greeting through your phone’s voicemail system, you can utilize a visual voicemail application that has been installed on your phone instead.

Dial *98 from your U-verse home phone, dial your home phone number from another phone, or access your voicemail messages online from the Voicemail Settings tab. After setting the number on your voicemail, you must also record a personal voicemail greeting. Follow the steps below.
