While it is understandable that not everyone likes to use the default voicemail greeting messages on their devices, there is a simple and quick way to alter the voicemail greeting on the Samsung S20 from any carrier (including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Spring, and others).
1. Some mobile phones have a Voicemail app easily accessible from the get-go. To start the voicemail setup process, just tap on the Voicemail app and follow the on-screen prompts.
Call your home phone number. Press # to interrupt the greeting, and then enter your PIN. Follow the prompts to listen to your messages. (Note: In some areas, the # key will not interrupt the greeting. Try pressing * or 2 instead.)
Note: Alternative method is to dial *86 (*VM) and then tap the Dial symbol on the screen.
3. Call your voicemail by dialing the number using the dial pad or press and hold “1.”
1. Setting Up a Verizon or Sprint Voicemail: Open your iPhone's Phone app. It's the white phone icon on a green background on the Home screen. Tap "Voicemail".
Tap the Phone app to launch it. Tap Voicemail in the lower-right corner of the screen.Find the voicemail you want to delete. Tap Delete (or, on some versions of the iOS, the trash can icon) to remove the voicemail.
4. When you're ready to begin recording, tap on "Record" and begin speaking. Once you begin recording, you'll see the line turn red. This indicates how much time you have left.
From your: Wireless phone: Press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key. AT&T Wireless Home Phone: Dial 1 from your connected home phone. Enter your voicemail password if prompted. In the Main Menu, press 4 for Personal Options. Press 3 to Change Greetings. Follow the voice prompts to record a personal greeting.
