We see small fixes come in targeted updates, but the iOS 9.2 update packs in a lot of new fixes that may solve a problem that annoyed you for the last several months. Here are the new fixes in iOS 9.2.

If you are using a IP 400 series desk phone, press the Voicemail function key. If you are using a Cisco 7900 series desk phone, press the "Messages" button (envelope icon). If you are calling from a phone other than your own desk phone, dial your own phone number and press the * key when you hear the voicemail greeting.

Change your Call Answering Rules You can change what options your callers have when they reach the voicemail service; get disconnected, hear your greeting, record a message, choose to be transferred to the number or user you select. Configure your Out of Office greeting This is the customized greeting message that is played to callers when your status is Out of Office. 5. On your dial pad, press “1” to listen to your messages, the most recent message should play first.
6. Access your greeting or recorded name settings. Next, press the key on the dial pad that corresponds to options for your greeting or recorded name. In this case, it's 3.

On the iPhone, go into voicemail and tap "Greeting". Record a few seconds of something and tap stop. Before you tap save, use iFuntastic or SFTP to navigate to /var/root/Library/Voicemail on your iPhone. You'll see a file called "Greeting. amr". This is the audio you just recorded. Delete that file and replace it with your custom message which should then be renamed to "Greeting.amr". Tap "Play" on the iPhone to verify your message works. If it plays, tap "Save" and your custom message will be uploaded to AT&T's servers.
4. Setting Up a T-Mobile Voicemail: Open your iPhone's Phone app. It's the white phone icon on a green background on the Home screen. Tap "Keypad". It's one of the options at the bottom of the screen.
