When someone is calling you and you’re not picking up, a personalized message from you will be played to them before they can leave a voice message. Some people like it to be formal, while some others like it to be playful and personal. If you have set a voicemail greeting before, you can change it too!
You can access listen to your voicemail messages from Microsoft Teams apps or phones, Skype for Business apps or phones, or Outlook apps.
On the iPhone, go into voicemail and tap "Greeting". Record a few seconds of something and tap stop. Before you tap save, use iFuntastic or SFTP to navigate to /var/root/Library/Voicemail on your iPhone. You'll see a file called "Greeting. amr". This is the audio you just recorded. Delete that file and replace it with your custom message which should then be renamed to "Greeting.amr". Tap "Play" on the iPhone to verify your message works. If it plays, tap "Save" and your custom message will be uploaded to AT&T's servers.
Select "custom" and tap on "Record" in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Tap on "Stop" when you finish recording. Select "Play" to play back the message. If you are satisfied with your new message, select "Save" in the upper-right corner.
To change your Standard Voicemail greeting follow the directions below. Enter your password and the press # key. From Shoretel Communicator (You will need to have access to your Shoretel phone to record the message) In the menu bar, click More, then Prefereces. Your phone will turn on and beep. Begin your message.

To record greeting, it is mandatory to have a strong internet connection. Alongside, even if the network connection is perfect, then switch to Wi-Fi to Cellular data or vice versa.
4. By default, your voicemail will be setup with your carrier's generic greeting.
