To switch voicemail back on, dial 1211. Record new voicemail greetings. You can record new greetings by calling 121, standard call rates apply.

I still get the same issue. I called my voicemail. It's set up and I was able to change my voicemail like that and listen to my messages, but the visual voicemail on my iPhone doesn't show any messages and will not allow me to create a new voicemail like it use to. Every time I click save it says "Greeting save failed. Failed to save your greeting"
turning off wi-fi didn't do it... So I deleted voicemails, then I cleared all. I still could not record a new greeting, so I turned the phone off, then on again, and that worked--I still had wi-fi on. You can change your voicemail password by calling (800)-331-0500 from your iPhone. Youâll reach AT&Tâs automated customer service menu which will ask for your phone number and billing zip code. A few seconds later, the message âPassword Incorrect â Enter Voicemail Passwordâ will appear on the display of your iPhone.
