Your voicemail service answers calls and saves messages when you can’t or don’t want to. Messages can build up quite quickly; luckily, we can listen to and/or delete them from our phones, allowing space for more.
Depending on which Android phone model you are using, you can dial the carrier code and directly stop the Voicemail service.

On an Android phone, a voicemail icon will appear at the top left of your screen in the Status area if you have an unread voicemail. Swipe your finger down from the top of the screen to view your notifications and then press New Voicemail. Your phone will dial the voice mailbox.
These steps are for all Devices including Windows, if voicemail is less than 30 days old. Go to My T-Mobile and log in to your account. Click My Phone or Line Details > Check Voicemail. Log into your Digits account. Click on the message to download. In the expanded menu, click Download.

Follow the instructions for choosing the language options then press the # key to confirm the choice. When prompted, enter the 4-7digit password then press the # key. When prompted, say the signature (or name) then press the # key. Open your Android’s Phone app. It usually looks like a phone receiver at the bottom of the home screen. Press and hold the 1 key on the keypad. Tap Add number. Tap Service. Tap My carrier. Tap Setup. Tap Voicemail number. Type your mobile phone number and tap OK.
5. Use A Third-Party Voicemail App. While this may not work for all network carriers, it may be possible to install a third-party voicemail app. This could help you bypass any issues you have with calling your voicemail manually or with a bug-ridden carrier app.

The greeting section does not work. Call your own number and listen to the automated voice tell you whether you have messages or not. Then wait for further instructions. It will tell you to press four for personal options and then you press three to change or listen to your previous greeting.
