That way you'll get to know exactly what other people hear when they call your phone and one last thing I wanted to show you. If you don't see that play on record option on the bottom, you don't have visual voicemail. Set up on your phone and that's through your provider. So if you have at and T sprint T-Mobile or any other provider, you need to have visual voicemail.

Along with having my greeting screen frozen I was also not receiving any indication that a call was coming in...no ring, no vibrate, no visual indication on the phone at all. All calls were going directly to voicemail and the greeting was some funky message...maybe it was the default although custom was checkmarked. I also tried resetting, turning off WiFi, checking Do Not Disturb. 9 hours agoHow to Change the Outgoing Voicemail Message on IPhone (iOS 9 or later) Tap the phone icon (the same one you use to make a call). Tap the voicemail icon in the lower right of the screen (it’s the one that looks like an old-fashioned cassette tape).
Press and quickly release Volume UP button. Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button. Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
But now I'm going to go ahead and record. So press record sorry I missed your call. Please leave your voicemail after the beep and I'll call you back. Thank you. Press stop and now. I could press play and then if I don't like what I hear, I could press record one more time and when I'm satisfied, I could press save on the top right and it's going to save my greeting and that's all I have to do to set a new voicemail on my iPhone. You could always come back to this page. Press record one more time and replace your voicemail here. You're greeting here, and you should always use someone else's phone to call to see how it sounds from a different device.

At present, you have to record your greeting by recording directly into the iPhone microphone -- the results of which are average, of course.
4. Enter your voicemail password. If you have set a password lock for your voicemail account, you will be prompted to key it in. Use the dial pad to do so.
The telephone systems have the feature named as Voicemail. VoIP is the best example of it. When a receiver is unable to pick up the phone, then the caller can leave the voice message on the receiver’s phone. In older telephonic machines, such messages were stored as a voice message directly, and the receiver can hear them later. In modern telephone systems, such info is being stored on the server of the service provider in the user’s mailbox. It is similar to email in which the messages are saved in the form of audio instead of text.

2 - Navigate to your Dashboard > Audio and find the file named “recorded by phone” in the list, usually last page. You can now edit this file to rename it should you wish!
2. You can record your own greeting or choose from a list of preset greetings. You have 30 seconds to record a special greeting for your friends and family.
