If you’ve already created a custom voicemail on your iPhone, you can tap Play to see how your voicemail sounds. If you’re interested in creating a new message, tap the Custom button. From here, you can start recording your message by tapping Record and tapping Stop whenever you’re finished. Once you’re finished recording, tap on Play to make sure the message comes across as you’d like and hit Save (in the upper right) to save it as your voicemail.
You can disable voicemail by dialing ##002# on your phone. That disables all call forwarding so no calls will go to voicemail. I use Google Voice for voicemail so I disabled it on the cellphone side.
Press and quickly release Volume UP button. Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button. Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

1 hours agoWith an iPhone 6s, you're using Visual Voicemail. You will need to tap the phone icon>Voicemail>Greeting>Select Default to choose no personal greeting. If my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response. This ensures others can benefit from our conversation.
Thanks so much for your help. Closing it down did the trick on my Iphone. This has happened before and I don’t know what I did to correct it, but this was sooooo…. easy.
If you`re not in one of the countries that support 171 / 172 , take the following steps to set up your greeting:
Besides, to update Carrier settings, go to Settings > General > About. If any carrier update is available, the pop-up will ask you to update it.
Standard greeting with your name: "At the tone, please record your message to [name]."
Not sure how to get my voicemails now. It has been working correctly until today. Please help!
Deleted voicemails can be retrieved since they are kept on your device for a set amount of time. From your Android handset try:
Updates for Safari, FaceTime, and many other apps, Universal Control to let a single mouse or trackpad control multiple devices, new Shortcuts app, machine-learning Live Text detection and Visual Lookup, and more.
If you want to change that, follow these steps: 1. Press the voicemail button on your phone or dial *98/*99 to access the voicemail menu. 2. Press 0 for Mailbox Options and then press 5 to change the password. 3. Enter your new password of at least four digits and then press #. 4. Re-enter the new password and then press #.
To set up your voicemail, press *98, *68, or #55 (varies by location) from your home phone or call the retrieval number you received with your welcome letter. Voice prompts will guide you through the rest of the steps.
