Other types of Visual Voicemail: Tap Phone, then Voicemail. iPhone: Select Greeting. Other smartphones: Tap Settings, then Change voicemail greeting. Select Custom, then choose Record. When you're finished recording your greeting, select Stop then Save. Some smartphones may call the voicemail system when you select Change voicemail greeting.
Note: a desk phones' voicemail greeting can only be recorded via phone, there is no way to upload or download a greeting through the online panel.
4. Reset your pin. Maybe you have forgotten your pin or passcode or you never set it up in the first place. This is a common issue. Most carriers have detailed instructions for changing passcodes. For example, to change a T-Mobile passcode, hold down the "1" key, then press the star key, and then press number 5 to go into passcode security. Then press 1, and you will be able to change your passcode. You can change your Sprint passcode online by choosing the my preferences tab and then the "things I can manage online" section. You can reset your pin by calling the carrier if you have forgotten it or never set it up at all. Some sites allow you to do this online.

The greeting section does not work. Call your own number and listen to the automated voice tell you whether you have messages or not. Then wait for further instructions. It will tell you to press four for personal options and then you press three to change or listen to your previous greeting.

After you have entered the above number, tap on the "Call" button, and the new number will be set. OK now all your voicemail will be sent to the new number.
When asked to press a number, pause on the phone/mic icon and click a number under the DIAL PAD tab.
To recover a deleted message, tap Deleted Messages, tap the message, then tap Undelete.
When using a Cisco phone, you can record and change your voicemail greeting directly on the phone.
