In the Phone app , Visual Voicemail (available from select carriers) shows a list of your messages. You can choose which ones to play and delete without listening to all of them. A badge on the Voicemail icon indicates the number of unheard messages.

Launch Settings from the home screen of your iPhone, and then tap on Phone option. And then you can change the new voicemail password now.
Open the Phone app .Tap More options Settings. Voicemail.Turn on Voicemail transcription.
To set up Visual Voicemail, tap Set Up Now. You’ll be prompted to enter and confirm a voicemail password. Next, you’ll have the option to choose the default voicemail greeting or record your own. By having the alternate greeting pre-recorded and assigned, you can change your voicemail greeting on the fly. Recorded Name: Set this option to play a recording of your name instead of a greeting. “Leave a Message” Prompt: Check this field to play the following message after your greeting: Please leave your message after the tone.
Now, click on the “Settings” or “More Settings” option. Remember that if you don’t have this option, then this method will not work for disabling Voicemail.Scroll and check for the “Call-forwarding” and tap on it.You may be asked to choose from “Voice Call” and “Video Call” forwarding settings. Choose the Voice Call option.Disable call-forwarding and save the settings if your device asks. You have disabled Voicemail now.
To set up your voicemail, press #55 or *68 from your home phone or call the retrieval number you received with your welcome letter. Voice prompts will guide you through the rest of the steps.
